Description

Fifth album from the American experimental rockers, their follow-up to 2007s self-titled effort, which combined a new metallic brutalism with the punk tempos of their debut and the art-rock of the following two records. On this release the heavy punkiness remains, but it also has almost a dance feel on some tracks, and a host of new sounds are present, including massively overdriven synth bass and ghostly choral vocals.
This limited edition vinyl comes in a lavish die-cut package which includes both the standard album on CD and the bonus disc of remixes by the likes of Thom Yorke, Devendra Banhart and Tunde Adebimpe.
