Yelawolfs choppy, rapid-fire cadence has proved to be an earworm for those wanting party music with energetic flows and propulsive beats. With minimal trap production and rapping reminiscent of early Eminem; chaotic, violent, threatening yet wildly playful and at times funny, its fitting that Yelawolf signed to the Shady Records imprint for the release of his rowdy 2011 full-length debut, Radioactive. Executive produced by Eminem, the 15-track project finds the scrappy Alabama rapper raising hell alongside the likes of Kid Rock, Lil Jon, Mystikal and Killer Mike while covering diverse subgenres and trumpeting a defiant Southern way of life.
