Description
Following on from the successful and critically acclaimed release of the pathfinding soundtrack to the genre-rewriting Channel 4 / Canal+ undead drama Les Revenants (The Returned), Rave Tapes is the first studio album from the Glasgow five-piece since 2011s Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will.
Recorded at the bands Castle Of Doom studio in Glasgow by the band with Paul Savage, Rave Tapes sees Mogwai battering on the door of 2014 with arguably their strongest set yet.
The album is released through the bands own label, Rock Action.
The special edition box set format includes every format of the album possible CD, LP, cassette and download codes plus a bonus 12 and a one-sided 7, and if that wasnt enough, three 12 art prints and a photo book. The bonus tracks on the 12 and 7 are Die 1 Dislike, Tell Everybody That I Love Them, and Bad Magician 3.
