Following three EPs released though the Get Me, Halleluwah Hits and his own Growing labels, as well as the CD compilation, First Wave, Brothers Fowl is the debut album proper from Glasgow-incumbent artist and electronic producer, Dam Mantle.
Over the past few years he has been on tour with his ally Gold Panda a number of times both in the US and Europe, as well as touring extensively on his own at events and festivals across Europe.
He has produced remixes for labels such as Warp Records, Ninja Tune, Planet Mu, Ghostly and a wide variety of other artists.
Brothers Fowl sees Mantle turning another corner, building the record with a similar palette of sounds and rhythms but bringing a noir-ish ambience to proceedings. Its his most fully-realised statement and a fine culmination of the last three years of activity.
This is the first full-length release on Gold Pandas Notown label since Pandas own hugely acclaimed Lucky Shiner album.
Double 180g vinyl. Limited edition of 500 copies. The LP sleeves are being screen-printed by the artist himself and also come with a screen-printed insert and full album download (featuring two bonus tracks).
