A pilot light is a small flame – an ignition source for a gas burner that traditionally stays permanently alight. For singer songwriter Liam Kazar, it serves as a useful metaphor for love, even when the relationship has long since expired.

Out of a glimmer also comes Liam’s long-awaited sophomore effort, the pensive and elegantly arranged ‘Pilot Light’. Produced by Sam Evian and featuring contributions from Sam Evian, Hannah Cohen, James Elkington, Spencer Tweedy and more.

Liam is a go to musician for many of indie music’s biggest stars. Liam has toured as a member of Waxahatchee, Kevin Morby, Jeff Tweedy, Hannah Cohen and many others.

Liam will be supporting Kevin Morby on upcoming July 2026 UK / EU tour dates.
