Formed in 2004, Snarky Puppy has created a serious buzz among musicians and non-musicians alike. Led by bassist and primary composer Michael League, the band draws upon a variety of musical traditions compositionally including jazz, funk, fusion and electronica. Tell Your Friends, their dynamic release from 2010, was recorded live in the studio and captures the essence of a group which is somewhere between a jam band and a musical collective.
