In true it does what it says on the tin fashion, this album needs very little explanation. So heres a few words from the man himself:
Ive done covers of other peoples songs since the beginning. Looking over the various collections of my tunes a fair-sized portion of my hits have been covers: Youve Got a Friend, How Sweet it Is, Up On the Roof, Handymanso this is not uncharted water for me. Ive always thought that writing an original song and reinterpreting someone elses were similar processes; just as making music is a lot like listening to it.
