The third instalment in BBE Music’s ‘J Jazz’ compilation series documenting the jazz scene in Japan from the Sixties to the Eighties and exhuming some of its rarest tracks. Remastered in London, many of the tracks present are being reissued for the first time ever (some of the originals were merely private pressings) including deep cuts from post-bop maestro Kohsuke Mine, dancefloor-filling funk from the Ryojiro Furusawa Quartet and rarities from the Hideyasu Terakawa Quartet and more.
