English singer-songwriter Tony Sheridan (1940-2013) may be famous for only one thing: performing with The Beatles in their earliest incarnation. But in 1961 and 62, he was a top beat performer and a charismatic singer in his own right. Featuring two songs backed by The Beatles (My Bonnie and The Saints), his 1962 debut LP is a work of classic early-60s European beat and early rock and roll.
