The 5th David Bowie album and one of his finest works, originally released in 1972.
A (vaguely) conceptual album about a fictional androgynous bisexual rock star who acts as a messenger for extraterrestrial beings, it spawned 2 hit singles: “Starman” and “Rock ‘N’ Roll Suicide”.
This was the album that broke Bowie into the mainstream, and is perhaps the defining album of the glam rock era.
