The album was soon followed in 1980 by Happy Woman Blues. Lucinda now 27 years old, felt confident enough with her own songwriting to follow up her debut with eleven of her own compositions, the highlights of which are the opener Lafayette and King Of Hearts. That voice is unmistakably Lucindas, although its interesting to hear a definite southern lilt to her accent that is now noticeable in its absence on her later, bigger rock productions such as Car Wheels On A Gravel Road.
