Description
Parlophone Records mark forty years of Iron Maidens landmark live album Live After Death with a deluxe collectors edition. Featuring the 2015 remaster, the set includes two coloured 140g vinyl discs housed in the original gatefold artwork, alongside a replica World Slavery Tour programme, tour pass, and a glossy booklet containing the original notes plus a new essay, Rime and Punishment: Celebrating 40 Years of Live After Death. Written by fan club editor Alexander Milas, the piece features fresh reflections from Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain, Rod Smallwood, and artist Derek Riggs. Recorded across four nights at Los Angeles Long Beach Arena in 1985 and Londons Hammersmith Odeon in 1984, Live After Death captured the ferocity of the bands epic World Slavery Tour -187 shows in 331 days – and cemented their reputation as one of the greatest live acts in heavy metal history.
