I Feel The Love EP marks the debut of Serbian duo Mirko & Meex — Mirko Zekovic and Milos ‘Meex’ Djujic — on Micky More & Andy Tee’s celebrated Groove Culture imprint, arriving some 15 years into their hugely productive creative partnership. A vibrant, cohesive four-track 12 inch vinyl EP built for peak-time dancefloors, this release delivers everything the Groove Culture sound is known for — heavy driving basslines, shimmering disco strings, infectious vocal loops and extended DJ-friendly arrangements that bridge the gap between soulful house and high-energy disco house.

The EP opens with the superb title track ‘I Feel The Love’, featuring Riu Morris delivering a masterclass in soulful, full-throated lead vocals over a lightly gospel-tinged, organic deep house groove — gorgeous from start to finish. ‘Seduction’ follows with a chunkier, more colourful approach, built around sax, electric piano and Clavinet for a sun-drenched, distinctly funky house feel that sits perfectly in a daytime or open-air set.

On the B-side, ‘Do Your Thing’ brilliantly blurs the boundaries between chunky funky house and driving disco house, while closing cut ‘You Are No Good’ is a rolling disco house delight rich in Nile Rodgers-style guitars, driving drums, insanely funky bass and more classy Clavinet licks — cementing the duo’s reputation for feel-good house music of the highest order.
