Cabeça is the second album by Filho da Mãe, conceived and recorded between the mountains of Terra Feita in Gerês and Espaço do Tempo in Montemor-o-Novo, where most of the music took shape. A record built around space, silence and intensity — introspective, abstract and deeply physical in its atmosphere.
Following Palácio (2011) and two years of concerts and collaborations, Cabeça arrives carrying a dense inner world. Restless, uneasy and poetic, where distorted images and emotional weight blur together. Carefully recorded and mastered by Guilherme Gonçalves, with additional recordings by Makoto Yagyu — music that doesn’t explain itself, but invites you inside.
