Born in Milan to a Polish-Lithuanian mother and a Cameroonian father, Dawidowicz grew up in an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community in Jerusalem. Their unique upbringing—playing piano at religious ceremonies and inspired by their father’s DJ sets from the ’80s and ’90s—has profoundly shaped their sound. Now based in Berlin, Dawidowicz has previously released on labels like Luspoderosa, including their debut solo album, Sanctuary of Ideas.

It was when iconic artists like Calm and David Holmes played Dawidowicz’s epic 23-minute track “Capricorn Rising Over Jerusalemite Temple” that Hell Yeah Recordings’ Marco connected with them. This led to the release of “Fluff,” featuring artwork by Spain’s Alicia Carrera.

“Fluff” opens with “Skeptic Afro Jr.”, a slinky, ever-evolving rhythm journey that shifts seamlessly from basslines to cosmic leads. “Scintilla (Feat. Hannah Schraven)” plunges into dub and techno realms, with undulating drums and exotic melodies guiding listeners into otherworldly spiritual spaces. The album’s cinematic closing tracks, “Deep Fluff” and a hidden track featuring Leo Börger, are vast explorations of deep space—acoustic frequencies and molten synths rewiring the mind and connecting to higher consciousness.
