Life Coach is a collaboration. Life Coach is Phil Manley (Trans Am, The Fucking Champs, Oneida, Jonas Reinhardt) and Jon Theodore (Mars Volta, One Day as a Lion), with guest appearances from Isaiah Mitchell (Earthless, Golden Void) and Michael Elrod (Date Palms, The Alps).
Phil Manleys solo debut, Life Coach, was an album of instrumental Kraut and kosmiche music, while Alphawaves features a full band, with Manley now joined by drummer extraordinaire Jon
Theodore.
Life Coach toured with Moon Duo in 2012 and will play shows this year in support.
Phil Manley keeps very busy as a producer and engineer, having recorded albums by Wooden Shjips, Golden Void, Date Palms, Barn Owl, and The Fresh & Onlys.
Alphawaves delivers technicolour charm and grit in equal measures. It emanates positive energy, yogic in its approach and euphoric in its execution.
