Dwelling in the shadows of Melbourne, Pagan have spent their young but exuberant existence building a cult attraction to their wild, ritualistic performances and bittersweet death rock and roll. Whether a slot on renowned festivals like UNIFY, Yours & Owls or BIGSOUND, or national tours playing stadiums with Rise Against, or sweaty club shows with King Parrot and Clowns, Pagan have made a name for themselves with their blistering live show, making an impact on each stage they play. Pagan led by Nikki Brumen, with Xavier Santilli on guitar, Dan Bonnici on bass and Matt Marasco on drums signed with EVP Recordings (Australia) and Hassle Records (UK) and have recently emerged from the catacombs hand in hand with long-time producer and friend, Mike Deslandes (High Tension/Harmony/The Nation Blue) with their to-be-released debut album in tow. Led by the deafening single Death Before Disco which absolutely must be listened to with the sound up Pagans forthcoming debut album is intricate, deafening and large. They play with such an unstoppable ferocity that they sound not only like a band on a mission, but like a band at full-blown war.
