Butler, Blake & Grant reconvened at Norman Blakes home studio following their self-titled debut for 355 Recordings, returning to the simple idea that first brought them together. Murmurs revisits songs drawn from each members back catalogue – the same shared pool that shaped the trios earliest shows – and approaches them with renewed focus and restraint. Built around three guitars and three voices, the recordings favour space, interplay and collective feel, allowing familiar material to unfold in new ways.
