Combining Chino Moreno’s (Deftones) vocals, lyrics and vocal textures with Shaun Lopez’s (Far) production and sound design this 6 track collection features the single ‘Vivien’ and follows on from their singles ‘Initiation/Protection’ that dropped earlier in the year.
††† aka Crosses are a duo comprising of Chino Moreno and Shaun Lopez of post-hardcore group Far. The pair make music which, roughly speaking, furthers the electronic, industrial, and indie-related sounds heard in Moreno’s Deftones, notably shoegaze, dream pop, goth, and darkwave. Some have even dubbed their sound as Witch House. ‘ EP’ follows a bunch of singles from 2022, and is their first EP in over eight years.
