Crown Electric is the tenth studio album from Liverpool-born, Newcastle-based singer-songwriter Kathryn Williams, and her first solo record in almost four years.
This is Kathryns most potent album yet, confirmation and summation of the song writing skills shes been honing since 1999s Dog Leap Stairs.
Crown Electric was recorded at Bryn Derwen Studios in Snowdonia.

Kathryns career has now spanned 14 years. In that time she has been Mercury nominated and collaborated with numerous respected musicians including John Martyn, Tom McRae, Chris Difford, Teddy Thompson, Robyn Hitchcock, Badmarsh and Shri, Thea Gilmore and Sandie Shaw.
Kathryn recently played an intimate show at St. Pancras Old Church in London, before embarking on her biggest UK tour to date during September and October.
