Deep Purple presents a fully reworked edition of their 2005 album, ‘Rapture of the Deep’, celebrating its 20th anniversary with a fresh mix, enriched production, and expanded packaging. Remixed and remastered under the supervision of bassist Roger Glover at Chameleon Studios in Hamburg, this version provides tonal clarity and dynamics never heard before, unveiling and almost new album experience in the mix.

The anniversary edition highlights all the strengths of an album created in a turbulent yet creative period for the band, a time when they found themselves “a bit lost” due to lack of label support – but they emerged with sharp songwriting, masterful playing, and pure Deep Purple grit.

Complementing the main album is a bonus disc featuring previously unheard material from the ‘Rapture of the Deep’ sessions. These include the first-ever release of Steve Morse’s instrumental “Closing Note,” and additional jams/rehearsals that provide rare insight into the creative process.
