Description
In 1982 D.R.I.s seminal 22-track 7 debut, Dirty Rotten EP, was unleashed onto the streets of Houston. With such classics as I Dont Need Society and Capitalists Suck, they pioneered the rising thrashcore genre. Dirty Rotten EP was so popular that it sold out in just a few months, prompting the band to repress it the following year. This time, however, they opted for the better sound quality of the LP format, entitled (what else?) Dirty Rotten LP. Although they never achieved the popularity of bands like Suicidal Tendencies, they were one of the first bands able to bring metal and hardcore fans under the same roof.
