Description
Rockabilly icon, Eddie Cochran, best known for his Summertime Blues, embodied the rebellious spirit of American teens, who in the 1950s, were in the middle of a cultural revolution. Cochran, a teenager himself when his first hit, Sittin In the Balcony, was released in 1956, was an extremely talented (and good-looking) musician, on the cusp of major stardom when he was suddenly killed in a car accident at the age of 21. Despite his early demise, this collection of hits only confirms Cochrans role as one of rock musics greatest architects.
