Whereas Bon Jovi said they’d sleep when they are dead American rapper and professional Josh Homme lookalike (work might be drying up on that front) EL-P cleverly said he’s sleep when you are dead. See? A fine line between genius and idiocy. It’s a superb album and one of the most powerful hip-hop records of its era. A nearly all-star cast includes Trent Reznor, The Mars Volta, Cat Power and James McNew of Yo La Tengo. We did say *nearly* all star.
