Originally released in March 1956 Elvis Presley is the self-titled debut album by the legendary American musician and actor. Upon its release, the album spent ten weeks at number one on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart, becoming the first rock and roll album to make it to the top of the charts.
The album, which featured the classics ‘Blue Suede Shoes’, ‘I Got a Woman’, ‘Tutti Frutti’ and ‘Blue Moon’ also features one on the most iconic album covers of all time.
