Although he began his career as an outlaw to the Nashville establishment, Johnny Cash has come to literally define and embody country music. Produced by the great Don Law with Frank Jones, on 1964s I Walk the Line Cash offers up a handful of heartfelt renditions of earlier hits like Folsom Prison Blues, Give My Love to Rose, Hey Porter, Wreck of the Old 97, Big River and the title cut plus several new originals like the Top 10 charters Bad News and Understand Your Man. It resulted in yet another Billboard Country Albums No. 1 and another essential selection in Johnnys timeless catalog.
