Lyle Lovett and His Large Band is Lyle Lovetts third album, released in 1989. Lovetts gender-bending cover of Tammy Wynettes Stand By Your Man was later included in the soundtrack of the 1993 movie The Crying Game. At the Grammy Awards of 1990, Lovett won the Grammy Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance.
