The eighteenth album from Melvins, Freak Puke was first released in 2012 under the Melvins Lite banner. This incarnation of the band featured Trevor Dunn on standup bass alongside Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover, bringing a leaner, jazz-tinged edge to their sludge-rock sound. Freak Puke captures the band in one of their most adventurous and stripped-down configurations.
