San Diego legends The Locust have been blowing minds since 1994 with their unique mix of grindcore speed and aggression, mathcore complexity, and new wave weirdness. The band quickly earned a reputation for their unique sound and live presentations; singer/bassist Justin Pearson claims, I wanted to change the way people perceive music, or maybe just destroy it in general.
A veritable Whos Who of punk royalty everyone from Tristeza/Album Leaf/GoGoGo Airheart/Crimson Curses Jimmy LaValle, to Tarantula Hawks Dave Warshaw and Dylan Scharf, and Cattle Decapitations David Astor have gone in and out of the bands turnstile.
