Description
Eric Clapton is reissuing his four studio albums from the 1980s on vinyl for the first time in over 25 years. The four albums were remastered in 2010 from the original analogue tapes but only released in North America. These vinyl albums will be released on 29th June prior to his live shows in July, two in Germany on the 2nd in Cologne and 3rd in Hamburg, followed by his Hyde Park show in London on the 8th.
Money and Cigarettes, released in 1983, was Claptons first album recorded after his alcohol rehab. It received warm reviews with Rolling Stone magazine stating the simple, unaffected blues power at work here is surprising and refreshing.
