For the first time since their original releases, Nick Masons solo albums, Nick Masons Fictitious Sports, Profiles and White of the Eye will be available again as individual LPs and CDs. This is the first time the albums have been made available since their release in the 2018 boxset Unattended Luggage.
Nick Masons Fictitious Sports is Nicks debut solo album and his first work outside of Pink Floyd. Originally released in 1981, it saw him collaborate with a variety of different musicians including Robert Wyatt and Carla Bley. The album was recorded in 1979 at a session booked in America where Nick, Carla and Robert were going to bring their ideas together, but ahead of the trip, Carla sent Nick a demo cassette It was very different from what she had done before and absolutely in line with what I like commented Nick in 2012 and it went on to be the nucleons of the album.
