British musician and producer Leon Vynehall is part of a vanguard of artists expanding the ambition of electronic music. Highly respected for his musical output, he has established himself as a genuine artist, releasing bodies of work that are layered with musicality and craftsmanship.
Previous releases have consistently received critical acclaim. Music For The Uninvited was widely praised and featured heavily on many of 2014s Best Of Year polls including XLR8R (#3 album), DJ Mag (#3 album) and Mixmag (#6 album). Follow up Rojus (2016) received another long list of accolades including DJ Mags Album Of The Year. It also featured in Pitchforks Top 20 Best Electronic Albums Of 2016. ? The album cover and concept is by the multidisciplinary Trevor Jackson and features an image of the George Washington Bridge in New York from 1967 by Pol Bury.
The album will be supported by an immersive live show with a full band of Londons top musicians. Live dates include a three date London residency at Hackney Showrooms in early July, a full EU tour and multiple festival slots.
