Description
BB Driftwood has been filming in Africa, he has a godfather in Cuba, he was living in London during the end of the 1980s working with Dave Stewart and Olle Romö (their Swedish drummer and recording engineer) in Eurythmics, plus toured in the Caribbean and South America! His music could be labelled as Blues, but in a very broad meaning, and with colours of Country, Latin and Gospel. His lyrics very often reflect his views on life and own experiences.
BBs debut release contains 12 songs all written by him, including the songs Southward Bound, Sweet Elizabeth, Indian Summer and many more. This album also includes special appearances by Maria Winther, winner of the Monica Zetterlund award in 2011 (backing vocals) and well-known Opus 3 Records blues artist Eric Bibb (guitar). Released on Sonys SACD Audiophile Format the sound quality is outstanding!
