The Lions Share was a tiny Marin County club known for being a musicians hangout and this late 1972 Garcia/Saunders set certainly carries that vibe; loose, jammy, and intimate, the set is the sound of a bona-fide superstar kicking back with friends and jamming. From the ultra-funky opening of After Midnight to the final chord, this is classic 1972 Garcia. Even though the Live At Keystone LP would be released less than a year later, the set list for this show is almost completely different, which is a testament to this all-time classic jam bands versatility.
