Description
Touching You, Touching Me (1979) is perhaps his most polished record. The album was on peak 47 in the Jazz Albums Chart in 1979.
Self-produced, he learned much of the technique he employed from the best-selling recordings of the time in all Pop genres.
The dancefloor-Jazz R&B of Amajour opens the set. Heartbeat is a showcase for bassist Alphonso Johnson, pianist Michel Colombier, and the synthesizer of Hugo Fattoruso. Toque De Cuica is Brazilian dancefloor Funk, while Move It On Up is hard rock anthem and a reggae groover.
