Description

Drenge are an English two-piece grunge / post grunge band from Castleton in Derbyshire. Their raw, Infectious debut LP went on to become a joint Diverse favourite in 2013, and the follow up Undertow carries on where the band left off. Comparisons to early Black Keys arent unfair, theyve clearly been an influence on the sound Drenge are trying to achieve. The band also capture the immediacy and stark intimacy of their peers with their atmospheric, almost improvised vibe in the studio.

The band won Best New Band at the NME Awards 2014 and supported Arctic Monkeys at the iTunes festival in 2013. Drenges fans include Royal Blood, Arctic Monkeys, Kanye West and Black Keys. Drenge are mainly fans of Copy Haho.
