On their sixth studio album, Underwater Sunshine (Or What We Did on Our Summer Vacation), the Counting Crows offer up 15 cover version of some of their favorite artists tunes, ranging from the ubiquitous to the obscure. This album marks the first for the Crows since their split with longtime label Geffen in 2009 and features artwork the band commissioned from fans. Along with renditions of classic tracks by Bob Dylan, Fairport Convention, and Big Star, the band also takes on songs by lesser-known acts like Kasey Anderson & the Honkies, as well as two tunes by Tender Mercies, the side project of their guitarist Dan Vickrey.

MOV reissue The Underwater Sunshine as a limited pressing of 1000 individually numbered copies on yellow vinyl.
